The acquisition brings the aggregate amount owned by Price T Rowe Associates Inc to a total of 2,318,446 representing a 10.2% stake in the company.
For those not familiar with the company, Valmont Industries, Inc. is a producer of fabricated metal products. The Company’s Engineered Support Structures segment manufactures and distributes engineered metal and composite structures and components for global lighting and traffic, wireless communication, and roadway safety.
A glance at Valmont Industries Inc. (NYSE:VMI)’s key stats reveals a current market capitalization of $3.50 billion based on 22.51 million shares outstanding and a price at last close of $154.90 per share.
Looking at insider activity, there are a few transactions worth noting.
Specifically, on 2015-07-21, Freye picked up 896 at a purchase price of $111.42. This brings their total holding to 896 as of the date of the filing.
On the sell side, the most recent transaction saw Randt unload 381 shares at a sale price of $130.10. This brings their total holding to 6,979.
